Migrating from one processor to another
Everything
is changing and PSPs need to change a processing partner at some point in their development. But before starting the process of migration from one processor to another a PSP needs to realize that this process usually requires a lot of
time and resources. Moreover, today PSPs have several integration points with a
processor. Among them is the traditional authorization and settlement. But due
to the development of the functionality required by merchants some other
mechanisms need to be changed in the process of migration:
- An integrated on-boarding mechanism
- Chargeback management mechanism
- Reconciliation procedures
- BIN-files updating mechanism
Taking into
account the above mentioned information, you will probably agree that the process
of migration from one processor to another is not an easy task for a PSP, what
is more, it can become more complicated while you will have not only to cope
with the technical side of the issue but to undergo all necessary certification.
In order to
cope with this task you can consider the idea of using a standardized
processing platform-gateway. More information you will find in the article ‘Migrating from one
processor to another’ at #Paylosophy
